Today is the day!!!

 Yes, today is the day. November first. The start of national writer's month, and I have yet to meet my goal. Turns out that writing 1,667 words a day is quite harder than I expected. While I started my day off early and great, I've been sitting at the table with my coffee, notebook, and thinking cap, but alas, the word vomit has yet to show up. 

I thought I was on a wonderful writing streak and counted my words, but found I had only written 240, words in about an hour... well, that wasn't the streak I was hoping for. The problem I'm currently having is that I know what I want to say, but well, I can't figure out how to bring it all out.

Hopefully, soon, I can get the writing done because I really want to meet my goal this month and if I can't produce anything on my day off. Working days are clearly going to be a struggle. Ahh, well, I will keep you posted. 


I spent a good chunk of time today, and I will be honest, I was actually disappointed in the number of words I managed to produce on my time off. Let's just say I am very easily distracted. Hopefully, my day tomorrow will be much more successful. Here is a screenshot of today's progress.

October 5, 2010           Okay so no one yell at me, I know I have been slacking off lately. Chris is not here to be on the computer lol. So lets recap on what's going on.So carter's birthday is coming up next Friday October 15th. We booked a party for him a Jungle Jim's play land. I am his mom and I am so excited about it. I am pretty sure that my customers are getting sick of hearing about it now. Ha ha. Oh well. So I feel kinda bad about some events that have happened recently. If you  know me very well then all of you know about Austin and I think I wrote about him previously. Well I feel kinda bad because I was yelling at my mom, because of him. He never hangs out with me he hangs out with my mom. It's really pissing me off and then he has the nerve to call me his best friend. To be honest, I don't even know who he is anymore. Welcome to the Speters's show update 09/29/20

 Hello Hello! Welcome to the Speters show!!     So much to fill you in on my lovely readers. As you know the month of October is rapidly approaching which means a few things are happening. One thing, if you can believe it, is CARTER will be THIRTEEN YEARS OLD!! Can you believe it? I'm barely 30 and I have a teen boy. I can't believe it. Two weeks from Thursday my boy will be a teen.     For the next part of October if everything goes right I will be sending my book off to a lovely editor who will be changing my work of art. I'm beyond thrilled about the new achievement and chapter in my life. More to come on that here in the near future.      My last day at child haven here in Nevada was on September 9th. I've been pretty hush-hush about my new job. I'm an RBT ( for those who don't know that is a Registered Behavior Therapist. I'm quite thrilled about my accomplishment as I now have 38 hours a week and I got a raise so I'm making a significant amount mor
