NaNoWriMo

     Patience is definitely not my forte if you know me. I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of November 1st so that I can participate in NaNoWriMo- which for those of you that don’t know is National November Writers Month. I’ve set a goal to start writing in The Princess of Belsaria book two. 

    My goal is to write 50,000 words for the entire month, which means I need to write for an average of a consistent full hour. I don’t do math very well in this aspect. I’m a writer not a mathematician.... lol. Anyway to get a min of 50,000 words in a day, I have to write a minimum of 1,667 words a day. That’s only if I get the juices flowing so I really hope I have some good days to pick up my bad ones. I’m not sure if you would need a login or not, but here is my profile page on the website.

Sunday, Funday Work day

     So as many of you know, today is the start of Football!!! Though many stadiums are not allowing fans in the seats at least you can enjoy it on TV hopefully. I don’t usually share this publicly, my team is the Miami Dolphins. JUST SO YOU KNOW I AM NOT A SPORTS PERSON BY ANY MEANS. Today is the day!!!

 Yes, today is the day. November first. The start of national writer's month, and I have yet to meet my goal. Turns out that writing 1,667 words a day is quite harder than I expected. While I started my day off early and great, I've been sitting at the table with my coffee, notebook, and thinking cap, but alas, the word vomit has yet to show up.  I thought I was on a wonderful writing streak and counted my words, but found I had only written 240, words in about an hour... well, that wasn't the streak I was hoping for. The problem I'm currently having is that I know what I want to say, but well, I can't figure out how to bring it all out. Hopefully, soon, I can get the writing done because I really want to meet my goal this month and if I can't produce anything on my day off. Working days are clearly going to be a struggle. Kinda Lonely!!

  So it's been around a week since Jeff and Carter left town and its been pretty lonely I won't lie.  You know its funny how during this quarentine that people are saying they don't need any body or that they are fine. I call BS. Truth is we are designed to be social beings. We thrive on interaction and human conversation. I can't image how people feel when they lose their significant other. Which in some cases the widowed usually follows a few months to a couple years behind.  My husband is still on this earth, we talk every day that he is out of town, but I come home from work and I smell him in our room. His clothing neatly stacked and waiting to be warn. The bed feels enormous. Like a infinity pool never ending. Empty. I steal his pillows to stack against me.
